ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Brian Roake has always enjoyed writing in his spare time, while holding down a full-time career and raising two sons. He has written poetry and children's stories, as well as outlines for short stories and several novels. He has written for his own enjoyment and fulfillment, as well as for the enjoyment of a small inner circle of family and friends. For a number of years he belonged to The Carpenter Poets, a group of poets based in Boston, MA who would perform readings at chapels, libraries, etc., and who held annual readings at an Irish pub that they called home. The group self-published two anthologies of their poems, and one of Brian's was featured in the second edition
